Thank goodness! I spent the whole 3 hrs yest to amend my blog and when I was about to publish it, a msg came out "your main template is empty...publishing error." Aggh!!! I thought I had to re-do the whole thing again. Fortunately, 3/4 of it was saved. Otherwise, it means another sleepless nite for me.

I have been busy with work, being the first week of school...had to attend to the new pre-school kids. Now I realise the joy and pain of being a pre-school teacher. Reaching the office at 7.45am from Bt Panjang to Pasir Ris, isnt an easy task to do! Had to rush thru lunch and my prayers. Phew...Alhamdulillah, it's just for 3 days. The tears fr the children have dried up I guess..peace at last.

KL Trip (3rd Jan - 4th Jan)

Alisa, Mahanom, Sharifah & I left for KL on Sat morning. It was a comfy ride to KL...short naps, munching on potato chips, cheezels, burgers and of course, chit chatting away.

When I saw Mines Resort, I became more excited. We will be there soon. Yippee!!

The moment we arrived at Pudu Raya, we went counter to counter trying to get bus tickets for Sunday. Can you believe it? All sold out!!! I didnt mind staying another day though. But all of us (except Mahanom) have to be at work on Monday. Lucky us...manage to get a RM30 ticket. It was not as comfy as the ride to KL..but we had to take it.

Once we checked in, we did our prayers and left Melia hotel for a shopping spree! We plan to shop at Masjid India for tudung and then off to KLCC. We took the LRT to the Masjid India.

Alisa was famished! so we stopped at an Indian stall for food. The food wasnt good at all...the Mee Bandung tasted more like Mee Rebus! While eating, it rained and so we moved to a sheltered area. It was a heavy downpour..sigh..that means less shopping. We only had one umbrella...so Mahanom and I "volunteered" to be drenched.

In KLCC, we practically went to every floor to check out if there are any good SALE. Alisa got hungry again. Oh..I got myself sushi! yummy!

We were looking for proper, fine food. Wanted to eat at a steakhouse but couldn't find the place...so we finally settled for Dome. It was really good and affordable! (and we realise that the steakhouse is juz beside Dome!)

We took a cab back to Melia Hotel..after a stopover at 7-eleven for chocs, tidbits and Uno. We played Uno till abt midnite. I was the last one to sleep...watched Lizzie Mcguire on Disney channel. And was the first to get up. Technically, Alisa and I but she was still lying on her bed, resisting the need to get up earlier! heehee!

We were so hungry so we left for breakfast at the hotel's cafe while Alisa was still in the room ;p We went to Sungei Wang hoping that the shops r opened. We had to do a quick shopping cos our coach is leaving at 1.30pm. I grab a pair of beaded shoes for RM39 only! heehee...keep it for Eid this yr (as if!)

Despite the little time we had in KL, we had a great time! The food, shoppping (though not much), playing Uno in the middle of the nite..it was all a good break away fr home. I noe I'm gonna do this again. And hopefully, a longer stay.
