WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN

It's my 5th day in Egypt. Been a blast. It's like being transported back into time...like in the 60s or 70s. Egypt is 5hrs behind Spore/M'sia. Been to magnificently huge mosques, detailed and intricate architecture and very rich history - both Islamic and Pharaohnic eras. (To my dear Zee, guess what?! I've been to the mosque where Sami Yusof shot his music video of I cant remember which song. Dont worry I have it on tape and camera! Hehe)

Checking out at 12nn and killing time at City Stars Mall before our 13hr train ride to Luxor. I forgot to bring MP3 and earphones for my walkman phone! Just great! The book I have right now wont last me for 13hrs + 9hrs back to Cairo.

My skin's peeling cos of the dry weather but Alhamdulillah, the heat is bearable in Cairo and Alexandria. In Luxor and Aswan, I heard it's 40 degrees!! Alhamdulillah also, my wisdom tooth isnt giving me any problems despite eating a lot of meat (I must lose weight when I come back). But I still have to go for for surgery on 11 July (I am terrified thinking about it!)

Will do a proper update when I'm back..with pictures and all!

12 more days to go to the trip and I have a wisdom tooth problem. And at the same time, ulcer...ouch. It's hard to laugh heartily and smile a wide smile...wish the pain would just go away.

High medical cost burning my pocket this year. Agghhh....
