Sometimes humans just need a little reminder.
And for me it came via email, and it certainly made me teary-eyed. It just came at the right time when I need some comforting. Subhanallah.
Surah At Talaq (verses 2-3)And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, Allah will be sufficient for him.I pray for a stronger faith, patience and strength...always. And happiness to come soon.

To my dearest friend, Ram Das Brabakaran - congrats on your wedding with Kelly last night. The last time we met was what...2005? It's great to see you! I'm honoured to be invited. You should have asked me for a better secondary sch pix instead of that Teachers' Day pix to flash it on screen man!

Only 8 more days to Hari Raya and I've done nothing. I don't want this special month of Ramadhan to end :( Missing it already.

Hey, been more than a month since my last update. Thanks to my Pergas mates for the reminder :) Synchronised reminder lagi!
Let's start with the company dinner on 29.08.08 @ Raffles Convention Centre. The theme was 'Music Bash'. Not willing to splurge on costume rental, I opt for a nice simple long dress (after much window shopping!) Food was great, didnt win any table games, but I won the 8th lucky draw prize. Alhamdulillah! This time, the prize is useful - Bvlgari perfume & Carrefour voucher. Though winning the 1st prize (travel vouchers) would be a sweeter deal :p
The next morning, mum and I left for Batam (just a day trip for spa). It was quite a rush! A&W, J Co and hypermart @ Mega Mall then it was spa @ Tiara Mustika. It was my first time there. Very affordable @ $50+ for a 2 1/2hrs massage (massage, scrub, mask, herbal steam, jacuzzi, ganggang).
We opt for a relaxing massage. But I think mine was torturing! She really massaged by body hard and the way she was clearing the body scrub, was like washing clothes by the river. Aggghh...Mum's was better. I didnt like it cos the masseuse are so young (I'm a bit skeptical of young masseuse...no offence!) I shall stick to Holiday Inn :) Nvm it's expensive.
Ferry trip back to SG, I tried my new Sony handphone's camera. Here's one pix I took:

And on Sunday, 31.08.08, we came for our 1st lesson @ Pergas, went for a break and decided to 'cabut'! It's been a eons since we had a proper gathering. So, the 4 of us (yati, khai, lysa) went to town for that delayed date. Like u gals said, it's not always we skip class together or rather never...so what's just one lesson rite?
5 years ago when we joined Pergas: Khai....you were just waiting for your O level results, Yati...still studying in poly, Lis...teaching was still new, me....struggling with my degree. How time flies huh? Khai graduated from poly, Yati working, Lis married and still a teacher and me done with my degree. We kinda grew up together huh? Amazing how we can be so close even though we only meet once a week :) Alhamdulillah I'm blessed with such frens.
Till next time...Ramadhan Mubarak to all!
