As expected, it has been a hectic week for me. It has been exactly 5 days for me, doing marcom stuff. An enriching experience indeed. A lot to learn! We had a press briefing on Thurs, which allowed me to mingle with media ppl. That was fun (got free lunch that day)

Anyway, my blog was totally screwed up the last few days. Not sure why though. My entries were all overlapping each other...there goes all the time I spent on amending or rather changing the whole thing. After many attempts to do what I thought was necessary, I gave up! cos the same problem still exists. So, eventually decided to get a new blogskin. Thk goodness it all came out okie. (I hope so!) Let me noe if something is still wrong with it. Got a lot to improve on, I must admit.

Owe you guys some updates so...here goes...

Wednesday, 4th Feb

I met Wenda & Lena on Wednesday. Apparently, Breeks has moved to Takashimaya...but it shared the same roof as its other restaurant, which I cant recall the name at the moment (selling Korean food). Breeks @ Taka does not serve the Dory dish and stuffed mushrooms that I have been craving all this while

Lena gave us our souvenirs, fr Taiwan & Vietnam. She bought me a beaded sling bag fr Vietnam, which I really like and a mini flute from Taiwan. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the flute though.

After dinner, we continued chatting at BK (beside Borders) till about 9.30pm. Pretty early huh? cos we dun wanna miss American Idol 3. Definitely enjoyed watching the show...those who have forgotten their lyrics, overconfident individuals, etc. Cant blame those who forgot their lyrics! Certainly they feel nervous and pressurised up there on the stage. (Hmm...fr personal experience )

Thursday, 5th Feb

Didnt go out after work cos it was my mum's birthday. Anyway, I was too tired to go anywhere. The press briefing preparation really took away most of my energy.

I had assigned Tinie and Naszrul to buy my Mum's present. They went to Causeway Point. We bought the Vision set (pots) and Swensen's Cookies & Cream ice-cream cake which I had promised much earlier to Haikal.

Friday, 6th Feb

Alisa & I went to our all-time fav place...Little India! We met around 8pm and had dinner at Komala's. There was this cute little boy, with nice eyes, who tried to get my attention. And I layankan dia. What was his name? something Aslam..

We were waiting for our tea, but when it was served, it was too hot for us to even hold the cup. One of the staff saw us and he did what he was good at..."tarik" the tea.

We then went to walk down to our fav VCD/CD store. And yeah!!! Kal Ho Naa Ho is available!!!! I was so excited. The guy, who works there, immediately recognised us. And he started playing the soundtrack of KHNH. He told me that it was out long time ago...of course, I didnt know. And he replied "if you give me your hp no, I can inform you!" Err...I took that as a joke!

Anyway, I bought Andaaz, KHNH and Sangaam. And Alisa juz bought one!!! The other staff gave us a CD, which I'm not familiar with.

I dropped by Alisa's place to collect my Baghban and borrowed a stack of VCDs from her. Thk u!!!

I was hungry again by the time I reached home. So, I decided to watch the 1st disc of KHNH while eating. When the 1st disc was over, I thought I shd juz continue. Tak shiok, to leave the story hanging there. And that continued until the last disc...it was already 3.30am, and I was watching it alone...crying and laughing non-stop. Tinie looked at me and said "Helo! watching hindi movie and crying alone at this time? banjir lah!" It's been a long time since I had a good cry fr watching hindi movie...the last time was Mujse Dosti Karoge, I think.

Perfect show!!! Make u laugh and cry..the same emotional effect Kuch Kuch Hota Hai had on me years back.

Saturday, 7th Feb

Instead of going to work in the morn, I reported at 1.30pm. I had to assist my colleague at Masjid Istiqamah for some briefing. My work was done at 5pm. After that, I went to my fren's stall at Tampines mini bazaar. I had asked her to put aside a skirt for me but her hubbie had sold it! Agghh!! so, to ease my pain, I bought a top fr her. Only $12!

Then, went to Changi Airport...been a long time since I went there. Used to a frequent hang out place for me. After performing my maghrib prayers at Pasir Ris, I head back home.
