12.15pm - Waited for another colleague
12.30pm - Left KFC and shop, shop, shop...
3pm - Left Causeway Point
3.30pm - Drop by one of the centres
4pm - Reached my office
6pm - Left for the day!
Wished I was shopping for my own stuff! Was actually purchasing gift items for the upcoming company dinner on 31st August. Part of the organising committee, I was tasked to purchase all the barang-barang. Whole lot of stuff we got! Dinnerware, kitchen appliances, fragrance set, etc. Kalau lah I menang lucky draw masa dinner tu...best nya! Dinnerware pun jadi lah!
The first prize for the lucky draw would probably be a short trip to Bintan/Tioman. Not sure yet cos the budget given to us is quite tight! I would love to go to Bintan. Teringin nak pergi beach. Strolling by the beach, listening to the waves (*dreamy*)...best nya!
Anyway, the theme for that night is Arab/Middle Eastern. I still have no idea what to wear! To think of it, it's actually quite a boring theme. Jubah? Kurta? Purdah? Any ideas?

The few hours I was in the office, I was clearing my e-mails. One of the e-mails from my Manager. He's sending me to a Marketing Planning seminar this coming Sept at SIM. Best! cos I dont need to be in the office for 2 days. Tak best cos after the training I will have to achieve certain targets set by my manager.
One of the things that I have to do is to come up with the new FY marketing plan, do market analysis, recommend ways to capture database and many more. It would be a good opportunity for me to learn more and be more exposed to a wider scope of marketing. But, I'm pretty nervous...wondering if I could be as competent.
I'm too used to people doing the planning for me and I carry out the implementation. 2 months later, it's gonna be different. I'll be the one planning and others will be executing the plans. Would people listen to me like they listen to my boss? Hmm...
