Yesterday, was really a day out with Jessie, my ex-colleague. I've not seen her since February! Met her at 2pm, Orchard MRT. Heavy human traffic! We were both literally screaming and jumping when we saw each other. She commented that I looked much better now than the skinny me last time. She kept saying "OMG,look at your cheeks! I feel like pinching them!...You look so much better!" I managed to get away from getting pinched like a cuddly bear. Thk goodness!

We went for a late lunch at Sakura (Far East Plaza). Both of us didnt finish our food cos we were so busy updating on each others' lives.

The first thing she asked was "How's life?" From that tone, I know, she actually meant "Are you attached yet?" I just smiled at her, and she said "If you are attached and you didnt tell me, I'm going to kill you!" Of course not! I was just kidding her by showing that cheeky smile on my face.

She shared with me how busy she is with her wedding preparations. And how lucky can you get...working with your mum and getting paid the same amount her ex-employer was paying her! Wish I'm that lucky!

We spent more than 2hrs at Far East Plaza! Initially, it was just window-shopping, see-see-look-look. Then, I started it. Bought a white business shirt, with light blue stripes at Osmose. Then, a bracelet...then a casual flowery bag. A bag again! Oh no! I think I should set up a stall at Flea Market to sell all my old bags.

Jessie was so proud of herself for influencing me to shop. I was with her when I first swiped my credit card, last yr! So...beware! Probably, that's the reason why I only meet her now; for me to save up for a few months. Heehee! And what did she buy yesterday? One skirt..that's it!

We then went to CK Tang, which was undergoing renovation. It looked so messy and the paint smell was so unbearable that both of us couldnt tolerate any longer and left the place. We went to Scotts and had our Ice Blended at Coffee Bean.

We stayed there for till 7pm, and we parted in front of Scotts. Hugging each other, almost to tears. I'm such a cry baby huh? She made me promise that I'll be at her wedding on 31st Oct. That's definitely the next time I'm gonna see her!
