AN UPDATE...FINALLY!

Firstly, Salam Aidiladha to all my Muslim Friends!

I've always looked forward to Hari Raya (well..who doesn't?) to having my nieces and nephew coming over to their Nenek's house and messing it up in their own creative ways! The house will be so full of laughters and wailing! hehe...

We headed for my paternal grandma's place at Jurong West Extension, then off to my maternal grandma's place at Woodlands Circle. My brothers will be coming in the late afternoon, after Friday prayers. So, we went home straight after that.

I've not seen Izzat and Iffah for months! and I really miss them. The moment Izzat came, he dashed into Naszrul's room to join Haikal in playing PS2. I cant resist his cuteness...I have to hug him! He's in K2 now which makes him 6yrs old. Listening to him speaking in English really amuses me. While he was busy with PS2, I purposely ask him questions in English, just to make him communicate with me in English. And I must say, impressive!

Anggun, who is a year younger than Izzat, is a more "boyish" than he is. While he was trying to control Homer Simpson to drive properly on the road, Anggun said "langgar tu...langgar!" or "tendang budak tu!" How ironic.

Iffah, Izzat's elder sister, is in Primary 2 now. She shares the same birthday as her mum, 21st April. She dotes on her younger brother. Very studious and has a never-give-up attitude. She told me how she has improved in her Spelling, compared to her performance in Primary 1. Certainly proud of her determination and independence. I've seen her grow up cos she stayed with us for a few months before my brother got the house. I used to take care of her so often, especially when my brother and sis-in-law are out. So, the bonding is naturally stronger.

Cinta, Anggun's younger sis, should be 8mths old now. She is already crawling around. And yes, she is so chubby! Reminds me of my chubby cheeks, and like me, she does not like to have her cheeks pinched. She will start crying loudly if anyone does that!

When Abang Izam told Izzat that they are going home, he refused to budge. He started crying so loudly. I went in and consoled him, assuring him that he can come again to play when he's not schooling. Obediently, he nodded his head and allowed me to wipe his tears away. Managed to convince him to leave the room, only with me holding his hand. Minutes later, he was fine and all jumpy...ready to go home. Of course, he won't leave without hugs and kisses from his 2 aunts! :)

I can't wait to see them again. My mum's already missing them when she said just now "I miss Iffah..."
