BEARY HOTBeen only a week and Intan and I gotta meet up to catch up! Besides, we need to go complete the 2nd part of the contact lens study. This time, the session was rather short. That gives us more time to eat and chit chat.
Thankfully Intan remembered that we have always wanted to try (amongst other thousands things yet to go or to be done)...
2 Hot Halal Cafe. It's the only Halal cafe located at Colours by the Bay (Esplanade).

There weren't any customers except us...probably because it's a Monday. Both of us ordered the same thing: Masala Fish & Chips. The dory is way too huge for us. And yes, as usual, we didnt finish it..well most importantly, we finished most of it :p It was a generous portion and for a change, the spices add that local flavour to it, unlike the plain fish & chips.
After an hour dinner, we went up to the 2nd floor where we saw a shop selling teddy bears earlier on, but were too famished to stop. It's called
Cool Bear Workshop. We were told of the process of stuffing the teddy bear, putting in the "heart", giving it a spa treatment, and a birth cert for it. Cute concept huh?
My colleagues and I havent bought her any farewell gift, so thought since she likes it, it would be a good idea to get it for her. So, we did. Excitedly, chose one of the bears. Opted for a light brown bear, from the Tambo family. Height 32cm, weight 125gm, dark brown eyes. Given complete with a birth cert stating all the details. The "heart" was stuffed in the bear of course, where the heart is supposed to be. And she gets to cut the "umbilical cord" (errrr....string).
You can even choose to have a recorded voice msg, which can be re-recorded. Cool eh? You can dress up the bear as well. Great gift idea!
Before we left, we hugged each other and promised that we will definitely meet again. We definitely will...
