CATCHING UP!

I was on morning off today. So masuk keje lambat @ 2pm...shiok! Took the time to collect my passport this morning. I had made payment for renewal of passport and submitting of photo online. It took me only 5-10mins to get my new passport over the counter. Amazingly fast huh?

Planned to meet Wenda for lunch at 12noon. I dated her at the last min yesterday. Thank God, she didn't arrange for any appointment with her clients.

She suggested Golden Landmark for Malay food (which I am not aware of). She was telling me that most probably I could get a discount from the stall owner. Reason: cos I'm a Malay. Wenda complained about how her Malay colleagues paid only $2.80 for rice, with 3 dishes and drink, whereas she paid $3+.

We didnt go for the Nasi Padang stall, instead we chose the western food stall beside it. I ordered Chicken Chop with Spaghetti and she had Chicken Chop..$4.50 each, and two teh.

We had lotsa things to talk about! She told me about her trip to Colmar Tropicale, which she said was a bore...the kind of place where you wont stay for so many days. And how she love the suite in Berjaya Hotel KL...and they got a bargain package of $200+!! The actual rate is RM660.

Anyway, true enough, I got discount for both of us! Hehe...paid $10. Discount of few cents but still Wenda was saying "See..I told you. I've eaten here thousands of times n never got a discount!"

Wenda dragged her lunch to 1 1/2hrs...and I came in later than 2pm :p Today was a great day...simply a great day :)
