THE GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE
I've always envied people around me for what they have in their lives, which I wish I could have. Hafiz used to say to me what I have, they might not have. Probably I didn't probe too in depth cos they seem to have whatever I have! :p
But today started out on a different note, for a change. I met a sales rep from a company, which provides us with our staff's e-mail accounts, web hosting, etc, for the first time. She scrutinised my namecard when I handed it to her. Her eyes brightened, and she started asking me about the nature of my job and other job experiences. I felt like an interviewee!
For countless times, she repeated "You are so lucky!", "I envy you!", "You should be thankful!" (oh, and she said I look like I'm 19 or 20! Huh?!!) After listening to her story, I realised she's right...I should be thankful that I can go to work without dragging my feet, and without knowing exactly what is "work pressure". I love what I am doing right now...Alhamdulillah.
Money is something but it isn't always everything. And I have always someone dear beside me to constantly remind me of that :p
