JUST A SMALL TOWN...

My 23yr old sister is flying in 2 weeks time. Her first time on a long flight to a faraway land, away from her family.

She finally got a job to her liking, technical stuff. I can't remember exactly what her designation is...Industrial Assembly Technician (i think!). So, the company is sending her and a few others to Bruchsal,Germany for a 2-week training. (can I follow her?!!!)

She was just informed yesterday. So, both of us have been trying to get travel guides on the Internet but no luck yet. Either we stumble upon Bruchsal's hotel rates, its fast facts (like there's only nearly 46,000 people in that town), or the website is in German.

The company will be giving each of them travel allowance of SGD1000 which is definitely not enough for a 2-week stay. That's equivalent to 470Euros? I think that's just enough for her transport expenses! Each of them will have their own room. Think the company's too rich to be able to have that kind of arrangement.

I can see she's pretty excited about it...I would be too! But more so, if I could go with her! Haha...
