FAVOURITE PASTIME?

This blog should be entitled "Places to Eat"! I've been talking about eating and more eating lately. Seems like my favourite pastime huh? Oh no! *DANGER ZONE* I must check my weight later :p

Last Sat, had prawn noodles (FYI, this is only my 2nd time in 26yrs buying prawn noodles) for lunch @ Lucky Plaza. Not superb. My $2.50 prawn noodle near home tasted better. Couldn't find the ideal shoes in Orchard, we made our way to Harbourfront (again!). This time walking aimlessly. From a distance, I could see this Malay woman queuing up at a pizza counter. That doesn't look like a Pizza Hut counter. It's New York Pizza - halal! The pizzas are named after the towns in New York. I bought one called Queens Super Triangle. It's indeed affordably yummy. Check out www.newyorkpizza.com.sg And for once (in a blue moon) Hafiz gave in to my caffeine craving @ Starbucks.

Later that night, was dinner with my family @ Al-Azhar. Such a coincidence bumping into Lisa' parents. Black Pepper fried rice, Tom Yam, Beef Steak, Fish, Fries, Prata....
Mum's eyes sparkled at the idea of going to Mustaffa Centre for some shopping at the 24hrs megastore. She was actually tired and sleepy at first. Haha!

Little India was HAPPENING! I didnt know it was Thaipusam on Saturday. The streets was more alive with all the whistling, cheering from the crowd for those who went through the procession.


After some grocery shopping, we head home. Poor dad had to drive us...if only I had passed my driving test....Hehe. Posted by Picasa
