ACROSS THE CAUSEWAY

I took time off from work on Thursday to go to the dentist, whom I've not paid a visit ever since I completed my full-time studies (errrr...16 years old). Sheesh...but hey, I do take good care of my teeth ya!

I thought I would freak out or cry in pain...that he might force me to extract my wisdom tooth or that tooth with that big hole. Nervous! Hehe..but well, he just did filling for one of my tooth, and he did suggest to extract my 2 wisdom tooth but I kindly declined :p

Anyway, after a whole day of window-shopping in town, my friend and I decided at the last minute to go to JB. We did bring our passports along cos that was our initial plan in the morning. We took a cab to Woodlands checkpoint, and then carried on our journey by bus.

We were famished cos we didnt eat

lunch. The only thought in my head, KENNY ROGERS. That was indeed our first stop when we reached City Square JB. We sat for nearly 2 hours there, to enjoy every single bit of it.

Window-shopping and foot massage followed after that. Oh, and not forgetting, EGG TART from SEASONS. Then, I noticed a somehow long-forgotten zone: the BASEMENT. It was like seeing THE LIGHT, when I saw Auntie Anne's Pretzels right before me! I immediately knew what I wanted...choc mint.

Then Secret Recipe!!! The best of it all is...it's HALF THE PRICE of what they are selling here in Singapore. 1 generous slice of cake for only RM5.50. I bought 2 Choc Indulgence, 2 Mango Delight and a slice of mud cake. I should have bought 5 whole cakes :p

From M'sia immigration, I only took 20 mins to reach home. Amazing! I guess I'll visit JB more often now. Ate too much in M'sia...one of the reasons I can't stay in M'sia too long a time. I'll get fat!
