RAMADHAN: GOD-GIVEN

It's the ninth day in the holy month of Ramadhan. And I am loving it!

The other day, I was wondering since Ramadhan is such a wonderful, blessed month with all greatness from Him, why can't we have it the whole year round? Wouldn't that forbid us from doing all the wrong things and leave worldly harmful desires?

But God is All-Knowing. Being humans, when we are treated nicely and leniently too often, we get pampered and take things for granted. So imagine if we have Ramadhan the whole year round....we would proscrastinate in our 'sajadah' and 'ibadah' to Him. We would think 'Ah, there's always tomorrow..God promises this and that...' And probably people wouldn't bother to do their Tarawih every single night.

And Ramadhan wouldn't be special anymore. You wont have that feeling of missing the holy month of Ramadhan, tears would not roll down your cheeks on the last day of Ramadhan, there wont be much regret in you....

God, Ramadhan is just into it's ninth day, and I'm missing it already. Cos the end is definitely gonna come.

To all my Muslim friends, may you find His 'Rahmah' and Greatness in this holy month of Ramadhan. May we be better individuals and may we be granted with a stronger faith in Him and this beautiful religion. Do enjoy His gift!
