Thanks to my dad, I've been a fan of MJ ever since I was a kid. Not a fanatic but fond of his talent. Even my youngest bro who is 13 years younger than I am, love watching MJ's videos when he was a kid.
I didn't regret one bit, watching MJ's This Is It. It was like watching him performing live right in front of your eyes. Well, the huge Grand Cathay hall was one factor and the sporting movie-goers who whistled, screamed and gave loud applause when a familiar MJ tune starts playing. If not for the seating style in the cinema, I'm sure some would just stand up and groove to the music.
'This Is It' was like watching a concert except it was very much personal. Gave fans an idea of how the great MJ was really like. Perfectionist yet humble and loving. He was larger than life yet he speaks (spoke) to people with much respect and care. He was cautious with words, fearing of hurting someone. Countless times he said 'love you' to people around him.
Dancers - superb! Backup singers - wow!
If you, at one point of time, a fan of MJ, go watch it.
Credits to MJ and the brains behind the could-have-been great concert.
