Just when I thought I could finally go for a long, well-deserved holiday.

I was all excited about the trip - 2 diff destinations, 2 diff continents, 2 new places I've never been before. It's literally killing 2 birds with 1 one stone (1 air tix!)

Could have been in Dubai and Delhi.

Was already imagining what's Emirates gonna be like, the people in Dubai/India, the SHOPPING (shawl, abaya, sari, bags!!!), the cool weather and I knew the snapshots I'm gonna take (so that I can do a photobook). sigh...sigh..sigh...

Maybe because I'll be travelling alone in Dubai and probably I'll be a lonely, bored traveller there IF I had been there. And maybe when I'm in Delhi, I'll splurge like I've never spent before.

Not fated.

So, well I pampered myself with a spa getaway...nowhere else but BATAM!
Zee was more than willing to be my travelling partner :)

Even though it was just 2 days at Batam (not Delhi or Dubai), it finally felt like a HOLIDAY.
Even though A&W ran out of curly fries and their waffle ice cream wasn't that great.

2.5hrs of spa - definitely feel much more alive and rejuvenated now.

I sure hope 2010 will be a better year, full of happiness.

To all Muslims, it's gonna be a brand new Islamic year soon.
